SMS Opt-In & Consent

Oak City Intelligence is a trade name of Mony Group LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. We operate an AI virtual-receptionist service for small U.S. service businesses (for example, HVAC companies). On each business's behalf, we send text messages from that business's own phone number to that business's own customers. This page describes how customers consent to those texts.

How You Opt In

You opt in at your point of contact with the business — not on any third-party website. During a phone call with the business, our AI virtual receptionist describes the text program and asks for your explicit permission before enrolling you.

Verbal Consent Script

The receptionist reads the following before enrolling you, and proceeds only if you answer "yes":

"Before we finish — is it okay if [Business Name] texts you about your appointment and service? You'd get appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups. Frequency varies, usually fewer than five messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP anytime to opt out, or HELP for help. Do you agree — yes or no?"

Enrollment Confirmation

When you say "yes," you are enrolled and immediately receive this confirmation text:

[Business Name]: You're now set to receive service text updates. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Program Details

• Message types: appointment confirmations and reminders, follow-ups about the service you requested, and replies when you text the business back.
• Frequency: varies by engagement; most customers receive fewer than five messages per month.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply, as set by your carrier.
• Help: reply HELP at any time for assistance.
• Opt-out: reply STOP at any time to stop messages.
• Information sharing: we do not share or sell phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for any purpose.
